In 2001, Roger T. Creager was awarded the prestigious Courageous Advocate Award by the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (along with co-recipient Burle U. Stromberg). At that time, it was only the second time the award had been given.

The text of the Courageous Advocate Award given to Mr. Creager at the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association’s Annual Convention on March 30, 2001 stated:

“The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Proudly Presents Its Courageous Advocate Award to Roger T. Creager

“In recognition of his exceptional work in defense of the Collateral Source Rule. His pursuit of justice was accomplished with courage, skill, perserverance, and faithful dedication to his clients, his colleagues, and the law.”
