Virginia Insurance Coverage Issues Lawyer

In serious personal injury cases, the total amount of insurance coverage that is available to satisfy the liability of the defendant or defendants is critically important. An injured person who has sustained $1 million in damages and wins a jury verdict and judgment in that amount will, of course, be horribly undercompensated if the total insurance coverage available to satisfy the defendant’s liability is $50,000.00. Favorable resolution of insurance coverage issues is therefore vitally important to obtaining full compensation for the injuries sustained. Additionally, in many cases, the amount of available coverage can be increased by including claims against more than one defendant. Accomplishing this step, in turn, often requires research regarding liability theories against potential defendants and drafting of a pleading which invokes those theories as effectively as possible. Mr. Creager has extensive experience with respect to these and many other insurance coverage issues.
